Oakland, CA October 19, 2005.  Auston Harris maintained his position in the Formula TR championship  through the weekend and into the final two rounds of the series championship.

Round 15 began with Auston qualifying 4^th.  The race ended abruptly for Auston in his 1600 when the shifter cable broke after completing only two laps and finishing 5^th.

Round 16 started very slowly when Auston did not participate in the qualifying session due to a mechanical issue.  The start was exciting as Auston shot forward gaining several positions before the first turn.  Once again misfortune struck when Auston became high centered on a berm after avoiding contact with another car on the opening lap of the race.  Following a full course yellow to remove Auston from the danger zone Auston recovered to finish in 4^th place.

With only the championship finale to be run on November 12 at Buttonwillow Aston is in 3^rd position in the 1600 Series Championship.
